A Word from
Prof. Valérie Vilgrain

Prof. Valérie Vilgrain

Following the remarkable success of the first two editions of the Val d'Isère – Vilgrain Congress — which brought together participants from over 30 nationalities — I am delighted to welcome you for the 2027 edition.

Our ambition remains unchanged: to offer a full immersion in the best of radiology through an intensive week of learning, exchange, and inspiration. The congress brings together internationally renowned European experts and covers all major radiological subspecialties, with a focus on practical, clinically relevant content.

The vibrant discussions and shared enthusiasm we witnessed confirmed the value of this format: a mix of high-level lectures, case-based sessions, and genuine interaction in an exceptional environment.

We look forward to building on this momentum and to seeing the VIV community grow even stronger.

— Valérie Vilgrain | Scientific Director

Participants from 30+ countries. Unanimous feedback. The congress that changes practice.

This flawlessly executed event has set a new standard for scientific exchange. I’m returning with fresh perspectives and a renewed passion for the art of communication in radiology.

R
Radiologist, Turkey

When you are in a room with select experts who lead radiology in Europe, the most logical approach is to listen, grasp the architecture of their diagnostic algorithms, and plan how to apply it to everyday clinical practice. I am returning home energized.

R
Radiologist, Albania

A wonderful and inspiring international meeting full of precious practical diagnostic keypoints, and the latest update of scientific knowledge in the field! An event of exceptional organisation and mindful selection of topics.

R
